A good host makes room for everyone.
Community & acceptable use guidelines · Draft · Prepared October 30, 2026
Make it a welcoming gathering
Be honest about your event and respectful toward your guests. Share accurate dates, prices, accessibility information, and any age or admission requirements. Only collect information you need to coordinate the event.
What is not welcome
Do not post unlawful activities, fraud, threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, exploitation, infringing content, nonconsensual personal information, or prohibited regulated sales. Do not use events or gifts to conceal payments, evade platform fees, or mislead guests. Do not collect payment card details in event descriptions or messages.
Your responsibilities as a host
Obtain venue permission and any required permits, insurance, licenses, and tax advice. Follow applicable public safety, alcohol, food, and accessibility rules. Provide an accurate contact method, announce changes, honor lawful refund obligations, and avoid sending unsolicited invitations.
Reports & moderation
The operator must supply a working reporting contact and moderation workflow before launch. Reports should include the event link and a brief description, without unnecessary sensitive information. The operator may remove content or restrict accounts for abuse and must establish a fair review process.
